AkiraAuthor: _Ghost_ Being one of my first few anime, Akira struck me in a profound way. Basically, this is a story about two childhood friends and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It raises many phsycological questions. With a strange blend of action and intelligence, this film is extremley delightful. It might take a while to understand the plot, but be good to yourself and watch it a few times. It will all come around. This IS one of the greatest anime of all time, and one of the first "mainstream" anime to come to the states. No one can be with out such a classic. Overall Rating: 9.9
