You're first taken to July 15, 1988, and you see a big explosion and Tokyo is destroyed. Then we go to 2041 AD. Neo Tokyo is a bustling city of despair, riots, and mayhem. Two almost life-long friends are in the spotlight of this film. Kaneda and Tetsuo are fighting a bunch of bikers when Tetsuo comes in contact with #26 or Takeshi. Only he and Kaneda ever see this boy. The army comes and takes Tetsuo with them. They run tests on him, and he wakes up and escapes and meets up with his girlfriend Kaori. He takes Kaneda's bike and he and Kaori try to make an escape, but the biker gang that he and Kaneda beat the hell out of want revenge. They beat up Kaori and Tetsuo. Then Kaneda and everyone else show up. Tetsuo goes crazy and puts his hands on his head yelling. The army comes out and... Darn. I've already given away too much...well this movie is the greatest... It'll take you a while to get used to the plot, so watch it about five times and you'll know what I'm talking about... Overall Rating: 10
