AppleseedAuthor: naruto-fanfic This title is awesome! The protagonist, Dunan, is a young woman that has forgotten why she is fighting. In the middle of a battle, she gets KO'ed and taken to a utopian city that has half of its population as "biroids" (genetically-altered clones with repressed emotions). The "naturals" (term from Gundam Seed) are in charge of the "regular army". The two forces clash in the fight to find the key to the reproduction tracks of the biroids. This movie is totally CG. The style is reminiscent of the "windwaker style", or more commonly called "cell-shading". The shadows are pronounced, and the characters give off an odd metallic shine. The movie is rated R, but I doubt it would rate PG-13 in Canada. The only reason for the rating is one very bloody head explosion. I say the movie is overrated (maturity rating-wise). All in all, the movie is a masterpiece of CG, and with an original story by the creator of "Ghost in the Shell" it is sure to make you think about human values. I recommend this movie profoundly - a must watch! Overall Rating: 9.9
