Ayashi no Ceres (5)Author: Keiko Akiba Ayashi no Ceres is a magnificent anime - my favourite anime series in the whole wide world! Ms. Watase Yuu has done it again. After her successful Fushigi Yuugi, she made another anime series that will surely capture everyone's heart. The plot is good and has originality. You get a short prologue that goes like this: There was once a lone fisherman who saw angels bathing in the sea. He hid the robe of one of the angels, and she asked him if he had seen her robe. He lied and said, "No," and she married him. That's how it started - revenge. Interesting plot, huh? Well, the characters are also good. They are very realistically portrayed. A 16-year old girl who fights and struggles to live a normal life, a man with no past, a man who loves but isn't loved in return... You also get a cute anime girl with long blonde hair, a mysterious handsome man, and many more. It's very real, and all the viewers - mostly teens - can relate to it. With a lot of twists and turns, you won't stop watching it until the end. It is definitely a good anime series many will remember. Overall Rating: 9
