Azumanga DaiohAuthor: ~Tomo-chan~ This is personally one of my favorite anime titles. The story begins at the start of a new school year in a high school. The plot follows six girls throughout their three year high school experience. Chiyo - A genius 10 year old girl who skips from elementary to high school. She acts just like a 10-year-old should. Tomo - A very energetic and competitive girl. She's very loud and a bit "off" at times. Koyomi - A typical high school girl. She is probably the most mature of the group, although she is concerned with her weight. Sakaki - A very quiet "loner" type girl. Her height causes people to think of her as a tough person, but on the inside she's very kind, soft-hearted, and loves cats. "Osaka" - The foreign exchange student from, where else... Osaka. She's a very strange girl. She often takes naps, and is a bit slow and confused most of the time. She brings some laughs into the story. Kagura - She joins the group in the second year. She's very athletic and competitive. She can be about as smart as Tomo at times though. The series is divided by school years : 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Throughout each year there are some school activities (Culture Festival, Sports Meet, Field Trips, etc.). What crazy messes can these girls get into? Although at times it may seem a bit tedious, this series has some very funny parts in it. I highly suggest you watch this if you have read this review all the way down to here. Overall Rating: 10
