BaohAuthor: Devil Kazuya This movie, although only about 45 minutes, is impressive to say the least. It's about a boy named Ikuru who is the test subject of an experimental bio-weapon called Baoh. The story starts on a train in which he is accidentally awakened by a girl with psionic ability trying to escape. Baoh is a parasite that resides in the brain and acts as somewhat of a guardian to its host. Upon injury or harm, the Baoh takes over the mind and strengthens the body, creating natural armor plating and armblades similar to the Guyver. As the movie progresses, Ikuru is chased by an assassin and assaulted by mulitple attack squads, and even a master psionisist. Throughout his adventure the Baoh parasite "evolves" and unleashes newer and more powerful attacks and defenses, none of which I'm gonna give away because the movie is short to begin with. I recommend this movie to those who like violence, smooth old-school style animation complete with the flashing battle screens and extreme closeups, and an overall good story. The only reason I didn't give it a ten is because it was short and it didn't have enough music, although what little it had was good for the setting. Overall Rating: 8
