BeckAuthor: brian A story about a guy named Koyuki who never listened to any type of music except pop, started listening to some rock music, and soon after became obsessed. He then meets a guy named Ryusuke who's a guitarist in a band called Serial Mama. The band eventually breaks up and Ryusuke starts a new band eventually. Koyuki decides to start playing the guitar and ends up joining the band. Also Koyuki ends up falling in love with Ryusuke's younger sister Maho, and it adds a little slight drama atmosphere to the show. During all this the new band Ryusuke forms known as "Beck" (in Japan) and "The Mongolian Chop Squad" (in America) tries to become famous and get signed by a label. This anime features songs done specially for the anime by Jpop artists such as Beat Crusaders, Hill, Arlo Brown, Typhoon 24, and Sowelu and many others. If you like anime and you like Jpop, you will love this series. Even if you hate anime and like Jpop or vice-versa you will love this series, and you can't miss it. Overall Rating: 10
