Berserk (4)Author: Alexander Fuller I just got the DVD series of this magnificent display of art work and all I can say is... WOW. I sat down and was immediately engulfed by the brilliant animation and story that I can only describe as original. Berzerk is one of the most, if not the most, emotionally and mentally stimulating anime series I have ever seen in the U.S. After watching it, I have had the music alone stuck in my mind for hours or days on end. The only complaint I could think to make is the way it left the story hanging and its fans longing for a second season. I don't know why the producers decided to end it like they did and not release another season, but whatever their reasons, I hope for the fans' sake it was a d&%@ good one! But overall, I'd have to say if you've been let down by other anime films and you're looking for that one to redeem all others, then this is the one that will do it. Overall Rating: 10 |
