Black Jack -- The Animated SeriesAuthor: Scott The world today is full of countless diseases, viruses, wounds, and life-costing things. It is up to one doctor to try and cure as many as possible. Doctor Black Jack is an unlicensed doctor who charges incredible amounts of money to tend to patients, so most of the people he tends to are rich. He was encouraged to become a doctor, when he was in an accident as a kid. A doctor -- named Doctor Honma -- went into surgery to tend to Black Jack, and came out successful -- even thought half of Black Jack's skin is pale and half of his hair is white. And so, he was inspired to become a doctor who became world famous. Most think he is a bloodsucking leech, but he is kind, intelligent, and the world's best doctor -- even though he has countless enemies! Basing off of the manga with the main character, this is a must-have for people who are soon-to-be (Or are already) involved in medical work. I don't plan on learning anything in the field of medicine, but still, I love this series. It is really nice, and the thought put into the fictional diseases is fantastic! Overall Rating: 10
