Cowboy Bebop (4)Author: Jaykay First Off, let me just say WOW! I've watched my fair share of anime in my time, but this one (including the movie) slots right in there with Ghost in the Shell and Akira (if not better). The plot basically revolves around a group of bounty hunters in the nearby future. The characters have got names like Jet - An aging bounty hunter with a metallic arm, Spike - A martial arts expert and generally chilled-out character, Faye Valentine - A rather sexy, but dubious character with a gambling problem, Ed (Yes he IS a boy)- a computer wiz, and a rather weird little kid , and a super intelligent dog named Ein. Humanity has spread across the galaxy, and the story mostly revolves around a city/colony on Mars. I won't outline any more of the plot - that'd spoil the way that the guys behind the series unfold all the characters and story. As I mentioned before, this is the best anime series I've ever watched, and it definitely deserves an award - if it hasn't already won some! Go out and get your hands on it as soon as you can!
