DNAngelAuthor: Sora "DNAngel" is a story about a young boy, Daisuke Niwa. He was an ordinary middle school student until his 14th birthday he found out that his family has carried a 'curse' and the males born into the Niwa family have a special genetic 'condition' that starts when they turn 14. Whenever he starts longing for the girl he loves, he transforms into the legendary "Phantom Thief Dark". The only way to stop changing is to have her return his love. Between turning into Dark, stealing artwork, avoiding the police, and trying to be a normal student, how will he ever find the time? This has to be one of my favorite animes. It is exciting, mysterious, romantic, and just all-around captivating! The first thing that caught my attention was the style of the manga. It's very soft and appealing to me. (The first volume's cover is very cool.) It has cute tones, and serious tones to fit every mood. The story is also quite surprising, and even has a deep emotional feeling about it. If you like stories with a little fighting, romance, and flying, this is definitely a good one for you! It's a magical story. I never wanted it to end. Thank you for listening. Overall Rating: 10
